Is Aureo a custodian?

By default, no. Bitcoin you buy lands at your own wallet, on-chain or via Lightning. For HNW and enterprise clients who require it, Multi-Institution Custody is available on request via our partnership with Onramp.

Aureo (Swapido S.A.S. de C.V.) is registered in the Bitcoin Service Provider Registry administered by the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador, with services offered by that registered entity and supervised by the Superintendency of the Financial System of El Salvador. Aureo Mexico, (Soluciones Tecnologicas Nagumatech S.A.P.I. de C.V.) is registered with Mexico's SAT as a Vulnerable Activity under LFPIORPI.

How long does identity verification (KYC) take?

Going through our identity verification (KYC) can take up to 5 minutes. We approve you within 15 minutes during business hours. We are always ready to help any users who require assistance with this process.

How is Aureo different from a mass-market crypto platform?

We're Bitcoin-only. We treat Bitcoin as monetary technology, not a ticker. Our research, OTC desk, and advisory are built for serious capital — not for retail speculation. Full pricing is published transparently.

Fees scale by ticket size, from 2.00% on first buys to 0.75% on OTC tickets over MXN 20M. We publish a break-even chart on the pricing page showing where Aureo becomes structurally cheaper than mass-market alternatives.
